About Sandra
Sandra Horne is a versatile musical director, conductor, arranger and pianist with over a decade of experience in musical theatre and classical performance. Originally from Australia, she holds degrees from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Sandra has worked extensively across the UK, with recent credits including Jersey Boys (Keys 1, UK Tour), Defying Gravity: West End Women (Cover MD, UK Tour); Into the Woods, Beauty and the Beast, Spongebob Squarepants: The Musical, Sweeney Todd (Trinity Theatre, Kent); Sister Act, Sunshine on Leith (Core Theatre, Solihull). Other credits include Les Misérables: School Edition, Chicago: Teen Edition, SIX: Teen Edition (Trinity Youth Theatre, Kent), and The Addams Family (Wimbledon Light Operatic Society).
Her conducting highlights span both theatre and concert platforms, with past engagements including the St Petersburg Chamber Orchestra, Flat White Opera, and assisting performances for City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
Sandra is currently a Musical Director/Music Tutor at Emil Dale Academy, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and Addict Dance Academy and frequently works as an audition and rehearsal pianist.
